The Rocketry Program is a two week, half-day camp for rising middle school students in grades 6th, 7th, and 8th. Participants will learn how to design, build, and fly a model rocket they build from scratch. Students will be building a variety of rockets starting with a match rocket to a water bottle rocket to a solid fuel model rocket. Participants will learn about the physics of rocket flight with the aid of the Kerbal Space Program, a rocket launch simulation software program.
