An Apollo 11 moon rock, two aircraft that Neil Armstrong flew, and spacesuits worn during Gemini and Apollo missions by Armstrong are all at this museum. There are several interactive exhibits and flight simulators, which you and your students can practice landing a lunar module.

The LITE lab at the Museum of Natural History and Science at the Cincinnati Museum is dedicated to teaching kids STEM-related material by providing many hands-on experiments. Students can also walk through a glacier and learn about fossils or visit a simulated cavern that is home to the Big Brown Bat colony.

There are plenty of things that students can do at the Drake Planetarium. They can go to a planetarium show and be amazed. They will learn about astronomy, NASA missions, and the planets. There are even LEGO lab programs, which include LEGO engineering and architecture and controlling a LEGO Mars Rover.

Focusing on science, the Imagination Station teaches kids about pure science and applied science fields while they can have fun. Exhibits include BODIES REVEALED, which uses real human body models, and the "Engineer It!" Learning World, which includes simulators and designing projects. If your kids like airplanes, then you should check out the National Museum of the US Air Force. This museum features exhibits in decades of flight, from the Wright Brothers’ first flight to some of NASA’s space flights. There are even presidential aircraft on display. If you get tired of walking (the museum is quite extensive), you can also check out their IMAX theatre.
