Mayfield Park and Preserve is an island in the middle of Austin.The park includes 2 acres of colorful cottage gardens, palm trees, peacocks andwater lilies. In addition, the park has 21 acres of nature preserve, walking trails and wildlife habitat! This location is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
