Do your kids like rockets? If so, COSROC is for them (and you!). This model rocketry club, based in Colorado Springs, works to be safe, environmentally, and promote education. Launches are held twice a month. Since the club provides the launching equipment, all you need to bring is a rocket. Although one of their monthly launches is club memebers only, the second is open to the public, so you can check it out before joinging.

If your kids like robots, this is the place to go! Members build robots together and show off their skills; they also have a convenient group of people to ask for help or insider tips. Since the people in the group range from age 12 to 60+, the skill set ranges from those of raw beginners to engineering experts.
