Isreal is using biometric technology to protect its citizens from identity theft. During this two-year test program, Isrealis can opt for a biometric identification card or passport that includes their fingerprint scans and biometric facial profiles. And Isreal isn't the only place employing this type of technology; many countries around the world are employing biometric identification programs.
