Why it is important for kids to learn to think like engineers beginning at the elementary level? Why is it important to know what engineers do at a young age? The reason is many children assume engineers build things but in reality they are designing an
object. If a person does not know exactly what engineers do, it is less likely they will want to follow that path in the future. This is a great lesson to make kids aware of what engineers do on a daily basis.
