National Museum of American History's Invention At Play Exhibit
Created especially for families, the National Museum of American History's "Invention at Play" exhibit allows visitors of all ages to practice the playful habits that spur invention and innovation. Visitors can learn about sailboard inventor Newman Darby, and then practice windsurfing on the Sailboard Simulator! The museum offers free admission and is open seven days a week.
