The Dinosaur Ridge Trail
Although Dinosaur Ridge is a bit of a drive from Colorado Springs, if you are at all interested in dinosaurs, this is the place to go. This two mile trail features dinosaur quarries where the first stegosaurus was found, and is one of the few places in the world where you can see dinosaur bones still in the original rocks in which they were fossilized.
